Vinculación con la Sociedad y salud comunitaria: Revisión sistemática y metaanálisis

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la evidencia disponible sobre el desarrollo de la Vinculación con la Sociedad (VS), a través de proyectos enfocados en salud comunitaria en entornos vulnerables. Se realizó una revisión sistemática con metaanálisis, fundamentada en los lineamientos del PRISMA Statement. De 1984 artículos identificados en bases de datos de impacto global y regional, se seleccionaron 97 estudios que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión. El 52% de los artículos evaluados presentó bajo riesgo de sesgo. El metaanálisis reveló un efecto positivo significativo en el acceso a servicios de salud y un efecto moderado en conocimiento en salud. Las intervenciones lideradas por equipos interprofesionales mostraron mayor magnitud de efecto. La participación comunitaria activa fue clave en el 93,8% de los estudios, asociada a sostenibilidad y equidad. Los proyectos abordaron determinantes sociales y se implementaron principalmente en comunidades rurales, indígenas, migrantes y marginadas. Sin embargo, la heterogeneidad metodológica, la escasa medición de sostenibilidad a largo plazo (solo 34% con seguimiento >12 meses) y la variabilidad en la definición de “vulnerabilidad”, limitan la generalización. La certeza de la evidencia fue clasificada como moderada. En conclusión, los proyectos de VS generan beneficios clínicamente relevantes en acceso y conocimiento en salud, pero su impacto sostenido requiere estándares rigurosos para evaluación longitudinal, medición explícita de sostenibilidad y fortalecimiento de capacidades locales.
