Prisma Social Journal (ISSN 1989-3469) is a quarterly digital publication on social sciences, social research, education and communication that publishes articles in Spanish, English, or Portuguese.

Prisma Social Journal was launched in December 2008 with the aim of disseminating and expanding research on social phenomena, since knowing more about people's needs, aspirations, feelings, and thoughts means knowing more about the world.

The main objective of the journal is to disseminate research from the social sciences that is fundamentally characterized by social innovation. The journal aims to combine the ease and accessibility of social and scientific media with the precision and rigor required by research results, so that it is useful to society and attractive to readers without losing its expressive power or scientific rigor. Thus, it seeks to offer a new perspective for analyzing reality that provides answers to the questions posed by society. It is a space for reflection and dissemination of research that delves into the origin and causes of social phenomena.

From a social innovation perspective, it is necessary to consider not only the innovative content itself, but also the way in which it is transmitted. Indeed, form is also content, just as content is preferably associated with a particular form of expression. Social behaviors, interests, habits, forms of social representation, social changes and resistance to them, social communications in different media, the impact of demographic factors and lifestyles on society, and ultimately everything related to human behavior, have a place in this publication.

The socialization of scientific language is an essential requirement for communicating research content and facilitating its assimilation by society. This assimilation will find the best channels through the most attractive presentation of scientific results, without this limiting the scientific seriousness and precision and the ethical commitment of researchers.

The exchange of scientific knowledge, not only between researchers in various fields of knowledge, but also among all members of society, is also an obligation and, of course, a right, since it is society that makes research possible through its efforts. We are all involved in the process.

Prisma Social Journal increases its circulation and prestige by being indexed in various national and international scientific journal platforms and databases: Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Scopus, ProQuest, EBSCO, etc.
