La comunicación publicitaria en entornos digitales: herramientas para garantizar la reputación corporativa

Las organizaciones emplean de manera integrada soportes on y off-line en sus estrategias publicitarias. La publicación de mensajes comerciales en soportes digitales sin unos criterios de calidad mínimos puede provocar un impacto negativo en la imagen y la reputación de una determinada organización.
El principal objetivo de esta investigación es determinar cuáles son los indicadores de calidad que pueden utilizar las instituciones para decidir la idoneidad de un soporte publicitario digital frente a otro.
Para ello, y tras consultar la bibliografía pertinente, se ha organizado un panel de expertos/as en el ámbito de la comunicación digital con el objetivo de dilucidar qué elementos pueden favorecer o perjudicar la reputación de una organización en función del contexto digital en el que aparezcan sus mensajes publicitarios.
A través de diez entrevistas en profundidad semiestructuradas se concluye que la viewability, el brand safety y el advertising fraud, son tres herramientas fundamentales para determinar la calidad de los soportes on-line. La viewability hace referencia a la posición de la publicidad en la página web; el brand safety al contexto y el advertising fraud a las prácticas fraudulentas. Estas herramientas son imprescindibles para que las organizaciones puedan optimizar la eficacia de sus acciones publicitarias y su reputación corporativa en medios digitales.
