Para la elaboración de este monográfico se recibieron en Sección Temática 42 propuestas de altísima calidad, tanto nacionales como internacionales. 20 de ellas fueron seleccionadas para su evaluación ciega por pares, y finalmente son 9 los artículos de investigación que han podido formar parte del mismo.
Los trabajos seleccionados abordan el uso de las redes sociales por parte de los/as jóvenes, los discursos del odio y el consumo de contenidos autocensurados, la publicidad encubierta y el marketing de influencers, entre otros temas, cuyo objetivo es radiografiar las nuevas formas de comunicación y marketing entre los y las jóvenes.
