Programación y Robótica en Educación Infantil: Estudio Multi Caso en Portugal

El proyecto de investigación Kids Media Lab: tecnologías y aprendizaje de programación en educación infantil hace parte de una investigación post-doctoral en la Universidad de Minho (Portugal), desde septiembre de 2015. El objetivo principal de la investigación es comprender cómo los/as niños/as aprenden a programar en educación infantil. Para la investigación es relevante conocer conceptos que se creen fundamentales: pensamiento computacional, programación y robótica, todos estos direccionados a la edad preescolar.La investigación siguió una metodología cualitativa basada en estudio de casos durante el año escolar 2016/2017. Los datos y resultados que se presentan en este manuscrito provienen de los siguientes instrumentos: diario de bordo, grupos de enfoque y observación con la Escala de Participación, una rejilla validada por el Ministerio de Educación en Portugal para educación infantil. Esta variedad de instrumentos permitió cruzar datos de la investigación. Se analizó la participación de los/as niños/as en diversas actividades, que ayuda a comprender sus estilos de aprendizaje. Se concluye los/as niños/as tuvieron una participación en general arriba del nivel 4, en una escala de 1 a 5. La motivación en todas las actividades fue siempre una constante y permitió aprendizajes en diversas áreas de conocimiento.
